COLBY WALKED DOWN THE STREET, KEEPING CLOSE TO THE WALL AS HE HEADED TO HIS USUAL NIGHTSPOT. HE WAS STILL QUITE IRRITATED ABOUT GRACEY AND WHAT HAD HAPPENED THIS AFTERNOON. NOT ONLY HAD HE CHANGED THE WOMAN AND SAVED HER FROM DEATH, BUT NOW HE'D REALISED HE LIKED HER MORE THAN JUST A FRIEND. SO, NATURALLY HE NEEDED TWO THINGS - A STRONG DRINK AND LOTS OF GOOD LOOKING GIRLS TO REMIND HIM THAT THERE WAS A WHOLE BUFFET OF WOMEN IN THE WORLD TO EXPERIENCE NOW AND FOR YEARS AND YEARS TO COME! WITH A HEAVY SIGH, COLBY SAT DOWN ON THE STOOL NEXT TO HIM AND RUBBED HIS FOREHEAD BEFORE DIRECTING HIS EYES TO THE GIRLS ON THE CORNER POLES, AND THEN TO THE ONE ON CENTER STAGE. THEY WERE ALL DIFFERENT BUT EACH ONE MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN THE LAST. WHERE WAS AXEL? USUALLY THE OLDER VAMPIRE COULD SENSE WHEN HIS CLOSEST FRIEND WAS PRESENT. PERHAPS THE SLY FOX WAS OCCUPIED. COLBY COULD SEE ONE OF HIS WIVES HOWEVER - VICTORIA, COLBY'S FAVORITE TO BE HONEST. HE SMILED POLITELY AT HER AND GAVE HER A CHARMING WINK AS SHE WALKED THROUGH THE CLUB, BUSY AS USUAL, KEEPING BUSINESS FLOWING FOR AXEL. WHEN HIS DRINK WAS PRESENTED HE THANKED THE BARKEEP, AND HANDED HIS CARD TO START A TAB. OH YES, YOU WOULDN'T THINK BY LOOKING AT COLBY BUT HE WAS ANOTHER WEALTHY VAMPIRE WITH A GREAT FORTUNE PASSED ON FROM HIS FATHER AND EARNED FROM HIS HARD WORK. HE HAD YET MORE TO COME ONCE HIS DEAR MOTHER PASSED ON. SAVOURING THAT FIRST TASTE AND SWALLOW OF HIS DRINK COLBY CLOSED HIS EYES AND LET THE PLEASURE OF ITS FLAVOUR FLOW THROUGH HIM. [atrb=border,0,true] business had been doing much better than usually lately, he didn't know what it was, but everyone seemed to be having some sort of lap dance kick. though, he knew that a lot of it had to do with victoria and her charm when it came to their customers. people had been coming back because they enjoyed the fact that she knew just what girl was good for which man and their tastes. it drove him nuts at the same time, though, seeing as some of the customer's tastes tended to be for his wife. of course, he knew that victoria would never go for any of the men in the club, if only because she knew that he would literally kill her and the man she slept with, if she did. of course, that wasn't the same rule for his second wife; he knew he would never be able to control the sin of lust, so he let her have free range to do whatever she wished to, whenever she wanted. well, except if axel felt it was his time to be with her. as he made his rounds of the club, he found himself seeing a familiar face at the bar. a smirk formed on his face as he walked up to the similar built man and patted him on the shoulder, "I knew you were around here, somewhere." he explained before he looked at the card that colby was giving to the bartender and took it from his hand, "it's odd how you think you still pay for drinks, here. we're past this." he explained, handing colby his card back. turning back to the bartender he gave her a signature grin, "do not take this man's card for the rest of the night. all of his drinks are on me." he explained before he winked at the girl, "also, a glass of jack on the rocks, for me, my dear." he stated before he turned back to colby. he could tell that there was something going on inside of his head and that somewhat worried axel. the sin of pride was much younger than axel, even though he was probably stronger, but axel knew when there was something going on with him, "it's been a whole weeks since you've been here last, what's been keeping you?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at his partner in crime. "By the way, I have a couple of new girls in the back, if you'd like a sample." he explained and grinned deviously.

[atrb=border,0,true] as he watched the bartender go into the back and grab his drink, he watched her ass and bit on his lower lip. he had managed to sleep with her a couple of times, but he couldn't seem to get enough. of course, he always went after he whenever victoria wasn't in the building, seeing as, even though his wives knew of his sleeping around, they (especially victoria) didn't like it when he slept around. so, he at least did it when the women weren't around. running a hand through his hair, he looked back at his friend, hearing his words before he chuckled, "i think all of us have had those days, my friend." he explained before the bartender came back with his drink. taking it, he lifted it towards her and winked again. he then lifted it to his lips and took a sip, enjoying the taste before he looked over at colby once more, "ah, the wings are on your ass, hey?" he asked before he shook his head, "I see what you mean. jeremiah has made a few more rounds than usually lately. pissing me off." he explained before he took another sip of his drink and shrugged, "but, i can only assume that he'll back off in a week or so." he explained before he put down his glass and looked around his club. god, it was busy tonight. the second that colby had made his confession, axel went wide eyed and grabbed him by the forearm, "shut up." he growled before he looked around, as if some of the order were just around the corner, "are you fucking stupid? speaking of such things in my club? do you think i don't have enough shit on my plate?" snarled before he stood up, grabbing his drink before h gestured towards the back, "come." he snarled before he lead him towards the back and into his office. once they were in, axel locked the door, took a big swig of his drink and turned back towards the younger vampire of the two, "now. tell me what happened." he explained before he started again, "i hope that you took care of the problem before she got herself, and you, into trouble." he explained as he walked over to his desk. taking a seat, he lifted his feet and rested them on his desktop, "or were you a complete idiot and just left the poor girl to fend for herself?" he asked, remembering when he had changed victoria. damn that woman a spitfire, he had to keep an eye on her every hour of every day. it was hard work, but once he knew she could handle herself, she turned to be one of the most ruthless vampires he had ever known.
