2009 was a turning point all over the world, the year the vampires took over. They closed the borders and used our governments against us. Nowhere is safe, least of all Blue Ridge, British Columbia. Only 45 minutes outside Vancouver, it's right on the US border. More illegal immigrants pass through Blue Ridge trying to escape persecution only to find more of it in the form of the town's well established shifter population and growing Kiss. The only way to keep safe is the join the Church of Eternal Life and embrace all that vampires have to offer. However, not everyone is prepared to just give in, and there's a quiet growing rebellion that goes by Humans Against Vampires. This shit is going to hit the fan, it's just a question of when.
