What I See in the Mirror

[/i]. I kind of found that out the hard way, back when I started high school. My eyes are hazel. No, not brown. They shift colors, from blue to green to gray and all the little combos in-between. All natural. I sometimes wear glasses, though, so that can cause people to need a second or third glance to get the right color.

I don’t wear makeup, and I ain’t much of a girly girl, so-to-speak. I prefer loose/baggy jeans and a t-shirt, plus some tennis shoes. You won’t see me in flip-flops unless I’m at the beach, ‘cause I’m kind of paranoid about my feet. Always scared I’ll ram my toes into something that’s very unforgiving—I’m a little clumsy. Usually my hair’s up in a ponytail, but occasionally I’ll let it hang loose, mostly just when it’s a special occasion or something. Long, thick, curly hair really isn’t all that comfortable down when it’s hot outside. Every now and then you might see me in something a bit more “fashionable” but it’s probably because I’m going to school or work. Nothing interesting there![/ul]

What I’m Good At

• All things artistic, or so it may appear. I often feel rather inadequate, but others say differently.
  
  
• I can ride horses pretty well, having had them around since I was a kid.
  
  
• I’m a good shooter, and I’ve got pretty good hand-eye coordination. The former is all thanks to my dad, I think. He takes me shooting out at the range every now and then. (Beware. I’m a licensed gun carrier!)

What I’m Bad At

• I’m not all that great at sports, and that includes anything like martial arts or karate.
  
  
• I have no rhythm. Seriously.
  
  
• I’m not a quick thinker. It takes me quite a while to think things through sometimes.
