Anadette was born in Russia to her mother Annalice and her father Hugo. She was the youngest of seven, but by far her father’s favorite. Detta has four older brothers and two older sisters. Detta’s family is far from normal, and ousted by most of Russia, but very feared by the mythical world. Her father’s hunting prowess is well known, and the family name not one you want at your dinner table. As a child Detta was not sheltered from the creatures of the night, and was taught at a very early age how to defend herself. She has no formal schooling, and everything she knows was taught by one of her parents. Her mother was responsible for teaching her manners, as well as how to write, read, and articulate herself. Her father however took her under his wing and unlike his other daughters taught her the same fighting, hunting, and defensive skills her brothers were rapidly becoming known for. Detta took right to it, and being female, she was far more agile than her bulkier brothers. Upon her eighteenth birthday her father decided that it was time to move his family to a safer place. The threats were becoming to much to shift through, and relocation would be in their best interest.

However the night before they were scheduled to disappear to lillehammer, her family home was attacked. Detta had never come face to face with vampires like the ones who swept through her home. Sure she had seen her brothers take them down before, but these vampires were stronger, faster, and keener then she had ever imagined. Detta did what she was taught, and took a stance right alongside her brothers. The night was bloody, and when it was over, Detta found herself alone in the snow, had she been knocked out? Was she dead, all these thoughts raced through her mind, and when she attempted to sit up a sharp pain ran down her spine. As Detta tried to remember what happened the only thought that came to mind was she had been tossed against the tree. She finally managed to get to her feet, dragging her wounded leg behind her as she searched through the bodies and pieces of her home for her family. Detta found no one, and she didn’t dare searched through the dismembered limbs that might have been them.

Though the all too haunting sound of branches cracking got her attention, and without hesitation she bolted into the woods. Detta ran until she thought her heart might give out, lucky for her nothing decided to chase her. Detta boarded the boat bound for lillehammer the next morning, and never looked back. She has spent the past years being rather reclusive, and only recently took on a ‘real’ job. Unfortunately it was at a strip club, but beggers couldn’t be choosers. The place makes Detta’s skin crawl, because she is almost positive everyone around her is far from human.
