The Count was a scientist of some sorts; he liked to experiment with things that were almost beyond his time. The middle ages was a dark and gloomy time, where people were dying off in the thousands from the black plague. Unfortunately for the Count, his beloved wife was one of those who had perished. He had watched what had been effected and he had found that only humans had been dying from the disease. Now, seeing as this was the middle ages and not many people knew about medicine or DNA, the Count started injecting animal blood into himself and his trusted friend (and co-worker), Jonas Van Helsing. Now, they had tried only two animals, a wolf and a bat; the Count used the bat on himself and Jonas used wolf. Every day, they would mix their blood with an animals by cutting open their skin with a nail and mixing the blood of the bat or wolf with it. However, seeing as the middle ages was not the most sanitary they didn't clean the nails and, after a while, both of them had been infected with a virus. The virus had given them animal-like tendencies; both of them lusting for the taste of blood and grown fangs. The Count hated the sunlight and Jonas started growing more and more hair and transform into a wolf-like man. Their minds had both gone blood drunk and they had both rampaged upon the town, killing and tasting the sweet tang of blood. However, seeing as they had feasted upon the flesh of the dying and infected, there was a chance that at least one of them would die. Unfortunately for the Count, he became infected. Both very religious men, the Count had tried to make a deal with God; but when God denied his life, the Devil soon stepped in. The Count then made a deal with the Devil but sold Jonas' soul, not his own. Thus the legacy and a war was born. gabriel & lucifer . Two angelic brothers, one dedicated to his father and the other straying from the love of God. Gabriel loved his father and everything he believed in. Lucifer was a rebel, not afraid for cause trouble and was quite a fool. Because of this, he soon found himself getting kicked out of heaven and was then the right hand man of the Devil herself. The two stayed true to their masters and Lucifer was there when the Devil took Jonas' soul away from him. However, the Devil soon realized that letting the Count live was a big mistake; the spawn that was born from both the Count and Jonas were killing humans and creating more and more creatures. This was the only time that the Lord himself and the Devil herself would team up to help the human race. Both of them sent their most trusted servants; Lucifer and Gabriel. The Angel and Demon refused to work together and thus the creatures kept growing and breeding. Because they refused to work together, the Lord and the Devil both agreed to shun them from heaven and hell until the war was over. The two servants then explained to their masters that they could not do it alone, thus the masters sent many more demons and angels to earth and the war then grew. After many years, Jonas and the Count managed to kill each other, but their children still existed and thus, the war raged on. how the sins & virtues came to be . Before the war had started, the Devil had created the seven deadly sins, having the stowed away for reasons that were unknown, even probably to herself. However, when she had found out about Jonas and the Count, she found a perfect opportunity. When the Count became ill and had sold Jonas' soul to her, Jonas has obviously found out. Revenge was his only option, calling out to the Devil herself, she offered him the seven deadly sins, which were then given to his seven eldest children. Once the count found out about this, he asked the devil for retaliation, in which she replied with giving Dragulia's seven eldest children the sins as well. Unfortunately, the Devil had no idea what kind of hell on earth she would unleash. As much as she wanted human's to suffer, she wanted them to suffer at the hands of her own minions, not some vile beasts. During this time, the angels had started to realize that the human's were being wiped out by the vampires and werewolves and decided their only plan of attack was to create a secret weapon of their own. So, they created the seven holy virtues. The Devil over heard this and sent some of her demonic minion to go out and steal them for herself, if only so she could use them to fight off the sins she had created. It was success for the demons, but a major loss for the angels. Though it wasn't for long, seeing as God created another seven holy virtues in their stead. So, when Lucifer and Gabrel asked for help, God and the Devil sent out each of their seven holy virtues, thus how it all came to be.[/style][/style] |
