Lilah's first few days in Lillehammer had not been overtly interesting. She had settled in a bit-- looked at a few studio apartments to rent, but thus far was still living in a hotel room. It wasn't a bad set up, not too expensive, a nice hot shower and a big tub, but it wasn't home. Her car was still packed with what crap she couldn't leave behind. She wasn't sure yet if she was staying or going. Stay for a bit, scope out the town, see if it was a good fit and see if Damon was around. That was the plan. She had looked near and far for that fucker since she died, and he was proving to be difficult to find. So, she figured, Lillehammer was as good a bet as anybody. It had a reputation for drawing the supernatural and so...well, it was where she was now.
She had yet to make too many friends. A couple people here and there to chat to but nothing overly exciting. No leads on him yet, so she had decided to take the night off. Go out. Have a good time. She'd dolled herself up, makeup and all, found her favorite hot red dress and pranced down the street to the strip club. Cliched, she knew, but seeing topless women twirl on poles was entertainment for the night. The line up was even short-- just long enough for her to smoke a cigarette in before she presented her ID, had her picture taken and was allowed inside the club.
It was a nice set up. Music blared, but not too loud, girls danced, clothing piled up on the floor. Waitresses were topless, their breasts swinging softly as they walked. She found herself a table near the middle and ordered a rum and coke, a double. She was going to drink until she had a good time and then crawl into bed and sleep it off. Not like she had any gigs booked here yet. She'd saved and saved, done a few magazine spreads to save up the money to come here. That was one of the nice things about her profession. You didn't really have to be anywhere in specific to do it. You moved, the job moved.
Her drink arrived and she gave the waitress a nod, crossing her leg and taking a sip, eyes roaming around the club for anyone who looked entertaining.

[atrb=border,0,true]The strip club wasn't exactly the type of scene that Damon usually found himself in. He didn't enjoy the sights or the smells, if only because he found a woman taking off her clothes for money to be extremely degrading. He couldn't deny that Axel was one of his closest and dearest friends, but that didn't mean he had to accept what his friend did for a living. he knew how to treated some of the girls and he knew that he basically used the club like a buffet for himself and colby. not really feeling that extreme blood-lust, like his purebred vampire aquaintences, he didn't really find the appeal in taking the lives of innocent girls.
tonight, however, after one of his good friends begged and pleaded for him to come with them, damon finally agreed. of course, he agreed to
going. but he didn't agree to spending any money on the girls, nor did he really plan on getting a lap dance. it was all just too much for him, in his opinion, besides, why spend money when he knew he could get a girl in his bed for free by just going to club? it made no sense to him. running a hand through his hair, he allowed his friends to walk into the club before him, all of the mimmediately greeted by topless waitresses just begging for tips. letting out a heavy sigh, he waved the guys forward, telling them to just go ahead before he walked over to a table and took a seat. Every five or ten minutes, a topless girl would walk up to him and offer a dance and he would politely decline, pointing them towards the group of guys who were more than willing.
ordering a drink, he looked around the club, seeing a bunch of girls as well as varied aged men around the club. However, when he scanned one table, he saw a woman with long, beautiful blond hair, seeming to do the same as he was. curious, he got to his feet and headed her way, more than ready to introduce himself. however, as he neared her, he realized just who he was and he froze in his tacks. it couldn't possibly be her, could it? taking a deep breath, he composed himself and gave her another look over. It wasn't until she turned her head and they made eye contact that he realized just who the girl was, "lilah..." he breathed, not rally knowing what to do with himself. he could only hope that she recognized him.

Stretching a little Lilah sipped her drink. The atmosphere here was good at least. All of the strippers were dressed up, they looked clean and had good bodies. She wasn't one that hung around at the strip club a lot, but she'd been a few times-- to high class ones, and to dives. Nothing was more disgusting than to see a dancer with a big c-section scar, smoking a cigarette, who must be at least 40. Ew. Not what she came to the club to see. Sighing softly, she crossed her legs and looked around. That was when she heard it. Her name...not even very loudly, but from somewhere behind her she heard somebody say Lilah. Who in the hell would she know in this town? Nobody that would know her name yet.
She should have recognized his voice, and as soon as she turned and saw him, her heart seemed to shudder and stop beating. She'd been looking for him for so long....and he'd found her. He looked just the same as he always had. She wasn't sure whether she should kick the shit out of him for leaving her, or fuck him on the table. She took a deep breath, giving him a smirk. "You have no fucking idea how long I've been long for you, Damon." She said, sliding around in her chair to eye him up. God, he was sexy. He always had been. She had loved him, did love him, more than anybody else she'd ever met. It had crushed her when he had left. But she was a big girl, a strong girl, and she'd picked herself up off the floor and figured her shit out.
"Sit." She murmured, eyes roaming over him. "I don't know whether I should beat you up or kiss you." She frowned. Perhaps she would give him a chance to explain himself first. Catch up a little. Simmer. Her heart had kick-started up again and was beating against her ribs with a frenzied passion. She nodded at the other chair and took a deep long drink. Now she knew for damn well sure she wasn't going home alone tonight. No matter what he said, she was going to bring him back to her place with her..she didn't want to be alone tonight.
Besides, she had missed him more than she had thought possible. Otherwise she wouldn't have wasted all these years looking for him. But now...now, she was immortal too. Now he wasn't going to live milennia after her death. Well...technically, yes. She'd died a while ago. Drowning was not really the funnest way to die, and given a second chance, she would have chosen something much quicker. Anyways, that didn't matter. What mattered was that she had him, now.

[atrb=border,0,true]he knew for sure, since the first moment that him and lilah had met, that they were destined to be perfect for each other. however, that obviously didn't mean they were meant to actually ohysically be together. damon knew the dangers of falling in love with a human and yet he had done it anyways. they had kissed, laughed and fucked, but damon knew it would have to end eventually. before things got too permanent, he broke it off with her. it was the obvious reasons that he knew would keep her safe; if she got tangled up with him and the supernatural world, who knows how long it would take before he would find her dead in an alley ditch somewhere. honestly, damon didn't think he would be able to handle that; so instead, he told her that he couldn't be with her and that it just wasn't going to work. he explained that they had met at the wrong place at the wrong time and that maybe, sometime down the reoad, they would be able to be together once again. fortunately for damon, he was right. for now he had the woman of his dreams sitting right in front of him, basically saying that she still loved him, if she didn't hate him for leaving her the way he did, which he completely understood.
when she explained how she had been looking for him, his heart skipped a beat. he thought that she would for sure just give up on his the moment that he had left her; she could do so much better. yet, here she was, explaining how she had been looking everywhere for him and, when she offered for him to sit, he did so without any objections. pulling the chair out, he took a seat and looked at her, taking her in as much as he could before her words finally sunk in. a soft smirk formed on his lips, still completely dumbfounded that he was actually staring at her beauty once more, "are you really limited to just one?" he asked before he leaned forward on his elbows and looked into her eyes, "you could beat me up first and then kiss me." he explained before a waitress walked back. he stopped her and ordered a beer before turning his attention back to the blond beauty in front of him.
"so, you've been looking for me, huh?" he asked, remembering the last time that they had seen each other. there was broken glass, turned over tables and a whole lot of screaming, but eventually, damon made it out of there alive. it killed him, to say the least, "I thought you hated me...: he questioned before he raised an eyebrow at her. it was then that the bear was placed in front of him and he nodded to the waitress in thanks before lifting the beer to his lips and taking a sip.

Lilah smirked at him, shaking her head. "Both sounds like a marvelous idea...first, I'll smack you around a bit as punishment for breaking my heart and effectively ruining my life, and afterwords, I'll kiss you." She said, eyeing him over. It was true when she said he had ruined her life-- from her perspective, anyway. After he had left, she hadn't known what to do... she felt so lost, so broken. And what do you do when your whole life is falling apart? You go nuts. She didn't know what to do with herself so she did everything, things that were bad and things that were good...but mostly things that were bad. She had been a bit of a rebel before, but nothing seriously bad enough to get her out of the good books and send her down below.
"Hate, love, is a very strong word. I don't hate you. Do you think I would have gone to hell and back, literally, if I hated you?" she purred. It was true she had told him she hated him...and thrown a few dishes at his head, and screamed that she never wanted to see him again. It just seemed so cruel that he would tell her he loved her...and then leave her. She slid her leg across to his side, caressing his calf under the table. Eyeing him, a smirk flowed across her face. "I've been a bad, bad girl while you've been gone, Damon. I earned myself a trip down below after I died...and you know, really, Hell's not so bad. Not like they make it out to be." She brushed her hair over her shoulder, catching her lip between her teeth. 'I'm immortal now, like you. That's why I was looking for you..." She said.
God, she had missed him. When they were together, everything was so electric. She had known it was going to be forever. Every time they touched, or kissed, or fucked, it was fireworks...cheesy as it sounded, it was true. it was like nothing she'd ever felt before. They fit...just fit, perfectly. That was why she had come all this way looking for him. She slid her leg up and down on his calf, grinning at him from across the table. "Don't worry, I won't throw anything at your head this time. I promise. And I don't hate you--- but that doesn't mean that I'm not still really, really pissed at you." RIght now though...god, it was hard to be pissed at him when she was just so pleased to see him. Though, before any kissing occurred...she might have to take him up on his offer and beat the snot out of him first. She had, after all, gone to hell and back because of him
She glanced around the room as the music changed and one of the girls came on stage, swinging her way around the pole. She glanced sideways at Damon. "I never figured you were much for strip clubs?" she grinned, shaking her head.

[atrb=border,0,true]damon couldn't deny that he was more than excited to finally be in the presence of the woman he knew was the one of his dreams. he didn't know how he had gone on without her, no that he was looking right at her. every woman he had ever slept with after her seemed horrid and disfigured and he wondered how he had ever slept with them in the first place. their beauty completely failed in comparison to lilah and her gorgeous face and rocking body; he tattoos were new, but he couldn't deny that he absolutely loved every one of them. He chuckled at her words before he shrugged, "i would really like to see you try..." he murmured before he gave her a devious grin, "you see, if you know anything about the supernatural world, i am far stronger than you." he explained to her, matter of factly before he continued, "however, i'll let you try before you give me that kiss." he teased before he winked at her playfully.
her words caused a soft sigh of relief to leave his lips, he didn't know what he would have done if she had actually hated him, "well, that's good news." he replied before he heard her go one about how she had been a bad girl and another one of those devious smirks formed on his lips, "i wouldn't expect anything less from you." he added before he folded his arms and leaned back in his seat, "you do know that us being together still can't necessarily happen. you are a pureblood and i'm a hybrid. you mating with my kind is forbidden. " he added, eyeing her before he sat back up straight and leaned onto the table with his elbows, "besides, i have no demon in me. so why would you want me in the first place?" his question was serious. he knew that the two of them had history, but they were different races then and they were still now.
When she asked about the strip club, he shrugged and gestured towards the men at a table not far off, "i was dragged here." he explained and grinned. it was then that another stripped walked up to him, apologizing for interrupting before she sat on his lips and asked if she could do anything for him. it was almost too tempting to not refuse, seeing as he wanted to know what lilah would do, but he couldn't. looking up at the woman, he shook his head, "no thank you, i'm sure you can find someone else." he stated before the woman stood up with a huff and walked towards the other side of the bar.
